heart trouble

Rachel 'Lauerman' Vaughn

Ray's oxygen was stable last night, and they were able to lower the pressure in his lungs (the machine was up almost as high as it could go to keep his oxygen up which had been only dropping before). How wonderful to have a tiny step back toward health! But this morning his heart was fibrillating, so they had to give medicine to get his heart going again, and they had to increase his lung pressure again as well.

    I love My Love, but someone could read "get his heart going again" and think that it stopped completely. It did not. The top half was just beating strange. Still waiting for it to settle down.

    the newest update is that his blood is getting too thin, so they're giving some medicine to help with that for now, but it's not fixing the cause of the thinning blood.

    Colleen Johnson Rachel, found out this evening that Holly's mom, DonnaMurdock, works there at the hospital with the heart doctors. She was at the lake with Craig's family a couple of years ago. Prayers continuing. Let us know if we can do anything. Would like togo see Josh and Kristen but Chris doesn't need to be there. love and prayers

    Colleen, yes, i remember meeting her. we're planning to wait until everyone else (kristen, noah, and gina) are healthy before we go down. sounds like gina's feeling almost all better, kristen's still sick, and noah's having a pretty rough time--just tired of having a fever and refusing to drink stuff he needs to.
    forgot to mention they also did four hours of dialysis yesterday.
